Job Summary: Ground Works Land Design is hiring a Mason Tender to support our masonry crews on high-end residential and commercial projects throughout the Cleveland area. The Mason Tender plays a key role in preparing materials, maintaining job site organization, and assisting bricklayers and masons with daily tasks. This is a great entry-level position for someone looking to build a career in the skilled trades! You’ll work alongside experienced masons and have opportunities for advancement: Masonry Tender > Apprentice > Mason > Foreman > Project Manager Duties / Responsibilities: Prepare and mix mortar, concrete, and other materials Transport brick, block, and stone to work areas Set up scaffolding, tools, and equipment for masons Keep job sites clean, organized, and safe Assist bricklayers with installation tasks as needed Learn masonry trade techniques from experienced team members On-call for snow removal during winter months 1+ years of masonry experience or educational equivalent required Strong work ethic and willingness to learn Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in all weather Team-oriented with good communication skills Spanish language skills a plus Why You’ll Love Working Here: Paid Training and Career Advancement Opportunities Health, Dental, Vision, Short/Long Term Disability Benefits 401k with Company Match Paid-Time Off and Holiday’s Off for Hourly and Salary Employees Company Uniforms Provided Company Clothing Store with Free Annual Credits Employee Appreciation Events and Happy Hours
