Production Level 9 Glass Line Leader 2nd Shift Responsible for leading a group of individuals through their production area. Engaging the team members, assigning tasks, giving directions, providing knowledge and advice, and making sure team members comply with standards.

Essential Functions
Responsibilities: Assign production associates with line tasks. Setting up the production line accordingly. Operates various machines and fills in where needed to ensure production goals for the department Optimizing production line efficiency by monitoring productivity, quality, and safety. Production targets being met without compromising on quality or safety. Identifying and resolving production line problems in a timely manner. Training and supervising new production line workers. Collaborating with other departments to ensure that orders are completed on time. Maintaining a fully operational, safe, and tidy work environment. Ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations. Perform duties in a manner that ensures Vinylmax will continue to operate in a clean, safe, and efficient manner. Performing recordkeeping tasks as needed. Coaching and develop their team where needed. Other duties as assigned by the production manager. Education High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience. ExperienceA minimum of three years' experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing environment, overseeing a team of 5-15 associates. Proficiency in basic mathematical calculations, written communication, and reading comprehension, as these are essential for the successful completion of required paperwork and projects. Computer skills including all Microsoft Office applications. Skills Strong leadership and interpersonal skills Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to analyze and interpret data to make informed decisions Strong organizational and interpersonal skills Work Environment & PPEFast-paced production environment; some areas may involve heat or working with sharp materials. Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods and handle large pieces of glass. Must be able to operate equipment such as saws, welders, drills, screw guns, punches, and end mills (training provided).Required PPE based on production line or task: Safety glasses Hearing protection Cut-resistant gloves and sleeves Safety shoes
Physical Demands: Heavy Occasional: 100 lbs Frequent: 50 lbs Constant: 20 lbs Work Schedule 2nd shift schedule is 3:30 PM - 2:00 AM (Monday - Thursday) + Friday OT as needed. Schedule includes one 30-minute unpaid lunch and two 15-minute paid breaks OtherA criminal background check is required for all positions, upon offer of employment. We are a drug-free workplace.
