About the role
Position Description:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Floor Tech to join our team. This role is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly environment during non-operational hours. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, able to work independently, and take pride in delivering high standards of cleanliness.
Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive floor care services including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, carpet shampooing, scrubbing, stripping, and waxing.
Operate professional floor care equipment such as low and high-speed scrubbers, extractors, and Kaivac systems.
Prepare cleaning solutions by safely mixing water and approved chemicals according to manufacturer specifications.
Transport, lift, and organize cleaning supplies, equipment, and materials to assigned work areas.
Load and unload supplies into vehicles and return unused materials to designated storage areas.
Monitor and maintain inventory levels of cleaning supplies to ensure availability for assigned areas.
Perform additional duties as assigned based on operational needs and skill level.
Requirements:
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- Previous cleaning or janitorial experience preferred
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Physical ability to lift up to 30 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Reliable transportation
- High attention to detail
- Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and safety practices
- Must be able to pass a background check (if required)
- Job Type & HoursThis is a part-time position.
