Responsibilities include receiving tissue specimens, ensuring proper labeling and fixation, assisting pathologists in gross dissection, processing sections for microscopic examination, embedding and sectioning tissue, performing routine and special staining techniques, and participating in quality assurance and statistical data gathering.
