About the role
Managing sales strategies and customer relationships, the remote Sales Director - Surface Treatment will execute action plans, drive key initiatives, and lead a team of Sales Engineers to achieve sales and distribution targets across the South Region.
Key responsibilities
Develops and executes sales strategies aligned with strategic priorities and customer roadmaps
Builds and maintains strong relationships with customers while managing the implementation of pricing strategies
Leads, coaches, and mentors the sales team, ensuring their development and effective geographical coverage
Required qualifications
Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field
8+ years of progressive B2B sales experience in automotive, industrial, chemical, or related markets
3+ years of experience in people leadership, including coaching and performance management
Proven ability to lead regional sales teams and manage key customer relationships
Strong commercial acumen with experience in forecasting, strategic account management, and contract negotiation
