About the role
Our client is a growing San Francisco-based investment firm seeking an HR Analyst to join a lean, high-performing HR team. This is an exceptional opportunity for an early-career HR professional who is highly analytical, detail-oriented, and eager to gain broad exposure across Talent Acquisition, HR Operations, Benefits, and HR Systems within a fast-paced investment environment. Reporting to the VP, Talent, the HR Analyst will support both the Talent and HR Operations functions, serving as a key contributor responsible for employee data integrity, reporting, recruiting coordination, onboarding, and benefits administration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain employee data across HR systems & ensuring accuracy
- Support HR reporting, data analysis, and workforce metrics.
- Manage HR data entry, audits, and ongoing system maintenance.
- Coordinate interview scheduling and candidate logistics.
- Support onboarding and offboarding processes, including documentation and system updates.
- Assist with benefits administration and employee transactions.
- Partner with external vendors and HR service providers.
- Support administration of the applicant tracking system and recruiting operations.
- Assist with employee lifecycle processes including new hires, transfers, promotions, and terminations.
- Identify opportunities to improve HR processes, workflows, and reporting capabilities.
- Provide project support across Talent Acquisition, HR Operations, and broader People initiatives.
Ideal Background:
1-3 years of professional experience; approximately 2 years is the ideal range.
Bachelor's degree required.
Experience in HR, Recruiting Operations, People Operations, HR Analytics, HR Coordination, Talent Acquisition Coordination, or a related field.
Backgrounds from investment management, financial services, banking, technology, insurance, consulting, or other fast-paced environments are welcome.
Strong Excel and data management skills.
Experience working with HRIS platforms and people data.
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Demonstrated initiative and problem-solving capability.
