Responsibilities:
Pack products into containers/cartons Seal and label packages Prepare products for shipping or storage Inspect products, materials, and containers Ensure products meet company quality standards Identify and report defects or issues Operate or assist with machines (e.g., conveyors)Start/stop or monitor equipment Documentation/Record keeping Keep work area clean Maintain organized workspace Work efficiently and meet production goals Follow instructions and procedures Be reliable and consistent Communicate issues to supervisors Other duties may be assigned. Safety and Compliance Following workplace safety rules (e.g., Occupational Health and Safety Act)Wearing PPE (protective equipment)Reporting hazards or unsafe conditions Working safely around machinery Food safety, but the core safety expectation is the same. Education Requirements:
High school / Grade 10 level education Little to some experience (01 year) in manufacturing/packaging
Knowledge and Skills:
Reading and understanding simple instructions Basic writing/communication Simple math (add, subtract, count, measure)Follow instructions and procedures Use common sense in routine situations Pay attention to detail Working Environment and
Physical Requirements:
Standing for long periods Using hands for repetitive tasks Light to moderate weight (up to ~50 lbs.)Walking, reaching, handling objects Close vision required Manufacturing/production setting Exposure to noise (moderate to high) and fumes or particles (in some cases)Fast-paced, production-driven environment
