About the role
Skin Concépt & Laser is an established, thriving medical spa on the Upper East Side. We're hiring our most senior on-site leader — a General Manager to lead the team, drive the business, and own its success.This is a leadership role for someone who gets results through people. You'll build and coach a high-performing team, lead a strong sales culture, own the location's numbers, and run a smooth, well-systemized operation. You'll have real autonomy and the backing of an owner investing in the business's growth.What success looks like: a confident, well-coached team that consistently hits its targets, a smoothly run operation built on clear systems, clients who keep coming back and refer their friends, and a healthy, growing business you lead with genuine ownership.What you'll do:Set the vision and direction, and rally the team around shared goalsBuild, lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team (~10–15 people)Drive revenue — convert the leads we capture, grow cross-sell, up-sell, memberships, and retailOwn the numbers — set targets, track results, and act fast when they slipBuild the systems that make performance repeatable — scorecards, reporting, huddles, weekly reviewsHold the team to the highest standards of service, safety, and client experienceOwn client escalations and protect the location's reputationRun smooth daily operations — scheduling, inventory, vendors, and facilityWhat you bring:8+ years in high-pressure, sales-driven, client-facing service businesses (medical aesthetics, hospitality, restaurants, hotels, fitness or health clubs), including 3+ years managing a team with real decision-making authorityA people leader first, a sales leader, and a builder of process and routineA track record of owning and improving specific business metricsFamiliarity with Boulevard, Podium, or similar booking and CRM systemsHigh school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary degree a plusCompensation & benefits:$100,000–$130,000 base + quarterly performance bonus up to 20% (total potential ~$156,000)Employer-funded health allowance (ICHRA)Paid time off and treatment discountsSchedule & working conditions:Full-time, on-site. Flexible schedule that can include some early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays during busy periodsInvolves extended time at a desk/computer, time on your feet around the clinic, and occasionally lifting up to 30 lbs.
