About the role
Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and organized HR Assistant to join our Central Office team. The ideal candidate will support various human resources functions and contribute to the overall efficiency of our HR department. This role requires a proactive individual with excellent communication skills and a strong attention to detail. The HR Assistant will assist in recruitment, employee onboarding, record maintenance, and other HR-related tasks to ensure a positive employee experience.
Responsibilities:
Assist with the recruitment process, including posting job openings, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.
Support the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing orientation materials and conducting orientation sessions.
Maintain employee records and ensure all documentation is accurate and up to date.
Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and procedures.
Assist in the administration of employee benefits programs and maintain related documentation.
Coordinate employee training and development programs, including scheduling and tracking attendance.
Help with performance management processes, including tracking evaluations and feedback.
Prepare HR reports and presentations as needed.
Assist in organizing employee engagement initiatives and events.
Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.
Perform other HR-related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
High School Diploma Required.
Previous experience in an HR role or administrative position is a plus.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).Familiarity with HR software and databases is a plus.
Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices is desirable.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
