About the role
Parks Tacoma in Tacoma, Washington, seeks an Executive Director to lead a CAPRA-accredited parks and recreation district with a 2026 budget of $92.8 million and a staff of 410 FTEs. The district supports 70+ parks, four community centers, and notable facilities including zoos, golf and marina amenities.
The E.D. will guide the organization through strategic planning, operations, and community engagement, reporting to a five-member Park Board.
