We're looking for a motivated, compassionate, and dependable Certified Medical Assistant to work directly alongside our Providers in our fast-paced dermatology practice. Whether you're a seasoned dermatology CMA/RN or newer to the specialty, if you're a team player who thrives in a clinical environment and takes pride in the care you deliver — we want to meet you.
What You'll Do:
Assist a PA or MD with daily patient care and clinical procedures Escort patients to exam rooms and gather thorough medical histories Prepare patients for examinations, treatments, and procedures Accurately document patient information in the EMR (we use Mod Med)Assist with biopsies, surgeries, and other dermatologic procedures Educate patients on treatment plans and post-procedure care Maintain exam rooms, supplies, and equipment to clinical standards Coordinate patient flow for a smooth, efficient clinic experience Travel with your designated provider between multiple locations Collaborate across clinical and administrative teams to deliver outstanding care You'll Thrive Here If You're...A compassionate caregiver · Detail-oriented · Tech-savvy · A reliable team player · Comfortable in a fast pace · Eager to grow
Qualifications:
Current Medical Assistant Certification required or Registered Nurse Reliable transportation and ability to commute between office locations Strong communication and interpersonal skills Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Proficient with computers and technology Mod Med (EMA) experience is a plus — but we'll train the right person Previous dermatology experience preferred, but not required Why Charleston Dermatology?
