02 / THE POSITION
Position Overview:
This is a strategic and highly cross-functional leadership position. The Vice President of Operations will work closely with executive leadership and functional leaders across Technology, Product, Research, Marketing, Finance, and other areas of the organization.
The successful candidate will be responsible for translating company strategy into disciplined execution, establishing scalable operating systems, strengthening organizational accountability, and ensuring leadership has clear visibility into priorities, performance, risks, and cross-functional dependencies.

This role offers the opportunity to influence how DALQEN builds and scales its operating model, rather than simply inheriting and maintaining an established operational structure.
04 / RESPONSIBILITIES
Key Responsibilities:
Translate strategic priorities into actionable operating plans, milestones, ownership structures, and measurable outcomes.
Cross-Functional LeadershipCoordinate execution across multiple functions, identify dependencies, resolve operational bottlenecks, and ensure key initiatives remain aligned with company priorities.
Operating Systems & ProcessesDevelop and continuously improve company-wide processes, workflows, operating cadences, documentation, and decision-making structures.
Organizational ScalingBuild operational systems capable of supporting increasing organizational complexity while maintaining speed, accountability, and execution quality.
Performance ManagementDevelop KPIs, dashboards, reporting mechanisms, and operating reviews that provide leadership with meaningful visibility into company performance.
Executive Decision SupportProvide structured operational analysis and recommendations related to priorities, resource allocation, organizational challenges, execution risks, and strategic initiatives.
Remote & Distributed OperationsHelp establish an effective operating model for a remote-first organization, including clear ownership, communication standards, decision rights, documentation, and cross-time-zone collaboration.
Operational Improvement & AutomationIdentify opportunities to improve efficiency through process redesign, automation, technology, and AI-enabled workflows.
05 / EXPERIENCE
Candidate Profile:
Significant experience in operations, business operations, enterprise transformation, or related executive functions.
System BuildingDemonstrated experience building or scaling operational systems across multiple departments.
Operational ExpertiseStrong knowledge of organizational design, process optimization, KPIs, operating cadence, and execution management.
Executive PresenceExperience working directly with executive leadership and senior functional leaders.
Problem SolvingStrong analytical, organizational, and strategic problem-solving capabilities.
Execution BalanceAbility to move comfortably between strategic planning and hands-on execution.
Stakeholder ManagementExcellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
Ownership & JudgmentHigh levels of ownership, judgment, discretion, and accountability.
Ability to operate effectively within a distributed, remote-first environment.
Industry DomainExperience within technology, AI, fintech, financial services, digital assets, or high-growth organizations is advantageous.
Learning AgilityDeep cryptocurrency expertise is not necessarily required; however, intellectual curiosity and the ability to quickly develop an understanding of the digital asset ecosystem are important.
