About the role

Leading the global R&D strategy for Animal Safety, the full-time Senior Director of Animal Safety R&D will manage the development and execution of innovative product solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a remote environment.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute the global Animal Safety R&D strategy, aligning innovation priorities with business objectives and market opportunities Lead the end-to-end R&D portfolio, balancing incremental improvements with transformational innovation Establish and oversee effective portfolio governance, prioritizing projects and resources in line with strategic priorities
Required Qualifications: An advanced degree in Veterinary Medicine, Veterinary Diagnostics, Animal Science, Microbiology, Immunology, or a related scientific discipline; a DVM or PhD is strongly preferred Significant senior-level experience leading R&D or product development teams within animal health or veterinary diagnostics Strong knowledge of veterinary medicine, animal health markets, and structured product development processes Demonstrable experience in managing innovation pipelines and delivering products from concept to commercialization Proven ability to lead complex, cross-functional, and international teams effectively
