What Youll DoAs a Medical Assistant, you'll help our clinical team provide an excellent patient experience while supporting day-to-day patient care.
Greet patients and collect intake information
Prepare patients and exam rooms for visits
Assist providers with patient care and dermatology procedures
Perform point-of-care testing and other clinical tasks
Document/scribe for the physician during patient visits
Handle patient phone calls and clinical correspondence
Assist with faxing, records and other office duties
Support the physicians, nurses and clinical team as needed
Help deliver safe, efficient and compassionate patient care
What Youll Bring
Required:
Medical Assistant certification through an accredited training program or EMT certification
BLS/Healthcare Provider CPR certification
Medical Assistant or equivalent experience in a high-volume medical setting
Ability to read, write and understand medical terminology
Strong patient-service and communication skills
Ability to stay organized and focused in a fast-paced environment
EMR/EHR experience
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Outlook
