Job Description:
Insight Global is seeking a Desktop Technician for a leading insurance client. This individual will join the IT support team and serve as a key resource for end-user technology support. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, enjoys solving technical issues, and is comfortable working directly with employees in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include imaging and deploying computers, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, managing incoming tickets, and providing deskside support. This role offers an excellent opportunity for an early-career IT professional to gain hands-on experience with enterprise technologies while supporting a large-scale desktop environment. Candidates should be comfortable working onsite, collaborating with IT teams, and occasionally supporting after-hours deployments during office moves and technology initiatives.
Before you apply
Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.
Your profile is current
It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.
Two examples you can talk through
Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.
A number in mind
What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.
Your notice period
Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.
Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
