About the role
Office Receptionist We are seeking a friendly, professional, and organized Office Receptionist to be the first point of contact for visitors and callers. The ideal candidate will manage front desk operations, provide administrative support, and ensure a welcoming environment for all guests and staff.
Key responsibilities include:
Greet and welcome visitors in a professional and courteous manner. Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls. Maintain the reception area to ensure it is tidy and presentable. Receive, sort, and distribute daily mail and deliveries. Schedule appointments and manage meeting room bookings. Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and document preparation. Handle basic inquiries and provide accurate information about the organization. Coordinate with internal departments for visitor access and support. Monitor office supplies and place orders when necessary.
Qualifications include:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in Office Management is a plus. Proven work experience as a receptionist, front office representative, or similar role. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Professional appearance and demeanor. Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
Working conditions include:
Office-based role with standard working hours. May require occasional overtime during peak periods or events.
