Lunds & Byerlys St Louis Parkis currently hiring for a vibrant and outgoing Full - time Food Service Cookto create a sensational shopping experience for our customers! This position works aFull-time scheduleand earns acompetitive wage of $21.50 - $27.25/hr. We operate 7 days/weekand are open from 6:00am-10:00pm. For this position the employee would be scheduled a range of shifts between 6:00am - 9:00pm.
FOOD SERVICE COOK RESPONSIBILITIES: Our Food Service Cooks are responsible for a wide variety of tasks such as: Preparing chef-created deli recipes Greeting and assisting customers Slicing deli meats, cheeses, and breads Stocking, rotating, and staging deli merchandise to ensure quality and freshness Creating a welcoming and safe environment Ensuring the cleanliness of the department OUR IDEAL FOOD SERVICE COOKTeam player- steps in to assist when and where as needed Respectful- empathetic and appreciative of our customers and team Innovative- implements trending and forward-thinking retail solutions Hospitable- provides a friendly face and welcoming environment
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education: High school diploma or equivalent
Experience: Customer service experience preferred Minimum of one (1) years cooking experience in deli or food service Other Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Ability to obtain Food Safety Certification Communication skills and the ability to follow instructions
