About the role
Lead Product Marketing ManagerWe are seeking a strategic, analytically driven Lead Product Marketing Manager to support pricing, packaging, and customer offer strategy. This role sits at the intersection of Marketing, Finance, Analytics, Product, and Sales and is responsible for evaluating and developing customer offers across acquisition, retention, existing customer, and subscription-based products.This is not a traditional product marketing role focused primarily on messaging or positioning. The ideal candidate combines financial modeling, business-case development, pricing strategy, and customer-focused marketing judgment to determine whether proposed offers are financially attractive, competitive, and executable.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and own financial business cases for new and existing customer offers, promotions, pricing initiatives, and other strategic programs.Build and evaluate financial models, forecasts, cash flows, profitability scenarios, and customer economics.Partner with marketing and strategy teams to challenge assumptions, refine offer concepts, and identify opportunities to improve proposed offers from both a customer and financial perspective, including acquisition, retention, churn, profitability, and competitive positioning.Translate complex customer, financial, and performance data into assumptions used in business-case development.Work closely with Finance to explain model outputs, validate assumptions, and secure alignment or approval for strategic cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, Sales, Analytics, Media, Finance, and Technology teams to support go-to-market execution.Evaluate initiatives across products, channels, customer segments, and lifecycle stages.Develop models and recommendations when information is incomplete or assumptions are ambiguous.Present clear, executive-ready recommendations that communicate the financial and strategic rationale behind proposed experience with financial modeling, business-case development, strategic analysis, or revenue management.Advanced Excel skills with the ability to navigate, modify, and develop complex financial models.Experience evaluating profitability, customer economics, churn, pricing, promotions, or offer performance.Strong business judgment and ability to develop reasonable assumptions when data is incomplete.Ability to balance marketing, customer, financial, competitive, and operational communication skills with the ability to explain complex financial analyses to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.Experience working across multiple functions and influencing decisions without direct authority.Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Marketing, or a related discipline preferred.Preferred BackgroundExperience in pricing strategy, offer strategy, revenue management, commercial strategy, strategic finance, management consulting, or subscription businesses.Exposure to recurring-revenue, telecommunications, media, streaming, technology, or other consumer subscription environments is helpful but not required.Experience with SQL, Snowflake, Power BI, Tableau, or similar analytics tools is a plus.Experience developing financial models from the ground up as well as working within established modeling frameworks.
