About the role

A growing consumer products manufacturer is seeking a Retail Sales Manager to drive business growth through existing customer relationships, new business development, and exceptional customer service. This role serves as the primary liaison between retail customers and internal teams while supporting product launches, account growth, and strategic business initiatives.
What We're Looking For: Previous experience selling directly to retail customers is required. Strong understanding of the consumer products industry and retail marketplace. Excellent communication, relationship-building, and account management skills. Highly organized, proactive professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment. Ability to manage multiple priorities across customers and projects. Experience working with cross-functional teams to support customer success. Project management experience and strong technology skills are preferred. Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred. Ability to travel approximately 15-20%.
Key Responsibilities: Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned retail customers. Develop and strengthen customer relationships while identifying opportunities for growth. Expand existing business and pursue new retail opportunities. Partner with internal teams to support successful product launches and customer initiatives. Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and emerging retail opportunities. Attend industry events and trade shows to identify new products, trends, and business opportunities. Collaborate across sales, operations, product development, and project management teams to deliver customer solutions. Ensure outstanding customer satisfaction through responsive communication and proactive problem-solving.
