Financial Services Firm in Tampa, Florida is seeking a Product Manager to assist with the growth of their Advisory Services business!
Responsibilities: Assist with building an Advisor Services platform and a modern advisor custody and technology platform designed to support RIAs, independent advisors, wealth managers, and affiliated advisor businesses. Own the product strategy and roadmap for Advisor Services, including advisor onboarding, client account opening, custody workflows, account maintenance, trading, portfolio management, billing, reporting, and service tools. Define the core advisor and client experience across web and mobile, including advisor dashboards, household/account views, client portals, document workflows, approvals, and operational task management. Translate advisor needs into detailed product requirements, user stories, process flows, and implementation plans for Engineering, Design, Operations, Compliance, and Risk teams. Build product capabilities that improve advisor efficiency, including digital onboarding, ACAT/account transfer workflows, model portfolio support, rebalancing workflows, billing automation, performance reporting, and third-party integrations. Responsible for building a product that will bring together digital account opening, custody, trading, portfolio management, billing, reporting, advisor workflows, integrations, and a client-facing portal into a unified platform experience. Mentor employees to help them achieve individual & team objectives
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent 5+ years of experience in Product Management, Engineering, or Consulting Strong written, verbal and collaboration skills Experience building or managing product capabilities within brokerage, custody, wealth management, advisor technology, fintech, or institutional financial services. Knowledge of ACATs, model portfolios, rebalancing, fee billing, performance reporting, householding, advisor permissions, and client portal design. Ability to convert complex business, operational, regulatory, and technical requirements into clear product requirements and execution plans. Experience working cross-functionally with Engineering, Operations, Compliance, Legal, Risk, Sales, and client-facing teams. Understanding of regulatory, supervisory, disclosure, books and records, and client communication requirements in a broker-dealer or RIA environment. Product-minded operator who understands both the advisor experience and the operational infrastructure required to support it. Able to simplify complex custody, trading, billing, reporting, and service workflows into intuitive product experiences. Strong understanding of advisor workflows, client onboarding, account structures, trading, reporting, billing, operational processes, and service tooling. Proficiency in JIRA, Confluence, or similar product/project management tools. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to drive alignment across senior stakeholders and technical teams. Direct experience with RIA custody, advisor services, wealth management platforms, portfolio management systems, or broker-dealer clearing infrastructure. Familiarity with platforms such as Altruist, Schwab Advisor Services, Fidelity Institutional, Pershing, Orion, Black Diamond, Tamarac, Addepar, or similar advisor technology ecosystems.
