If your financial aid file/FAFSA is not complete at the time that your application is submitted, there will be a delay processing your eligibility for the Program. To ensure quick turnaround time from when your application is submitted to when you're notified of your eligibility, it's recommended to check with your Campus Financial Aid Office and establish that your financial aid file is completed prior to applying. *FWS is a need-based program. If you are deemed eligible for participation in the FWS Program, please note that receiving any sort of student loan (or other form of Financial Aid not initially calculated in your file) after the initial award amount and/or eligibility has been determined by Financial Aid, your eligibility for participation in the FWS Program could potentially change, even if you are already working under the Program. This could mean an increase or decrease of aid award, or being deemed ineligible to participate in the FWS program. If you have questions about this, please contact your Campus Financial Aid office for clarification. Completion of application and/or approved eligibility does not guarantee placement in a FWS position. Students MUST pass a Background Screen before being officially hired. Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
