We are seeking an Optician who can drive profitable sales growth and attract and retain guests by delivering exceptional guest service. This role involves developing a positive and productive retail environment that ensures premier guest service, guest retention, and outstanding optical/doctor satisfaction.
The essential functions include:
Filling ophthalmic eyeglass prescriptions and fitting lenses and frames based on optical prescriptions.
Ensuring high-quality and timely product manufacturing and fabrication.
Dispensing quality products.
Position requirements include:
Ability to grow sales through effective sales skills and accountability for results.
Ability to communicate enthusiastically and concisely to meet or exceed guest expectations and foster positive relationships with the optical team, doctors, and hosts.
Demonstrated success in store merchandising and attention to detail.
State licensure or certification by a recognized optician association is a plus.
Skills in verifying visual acuity, analyzing and interpreting prescriptions and lens designs, measuring pupillary distances, and fitting and adjusting eyewear.
Ability to dispense contact lenses.
Salary: Commensurate with experience. Fluency in Spanish is a must.
