About the role
- Receive project requests and draft designs
- Work collaboratively with team leader, team members and clients to ensure accuracy of early design work
- Finalize drafting projects using both 2D and 3D software
- Revisit designs and make adjustments to designs as needed
- Research and incorporate artistic elements into designs as needed
- Ensure design specifications align to safety standards and governmental regulations
- Liaise with various professionals and departments to coordinate project details
- A Master's degree in Architecture preferred 3+ years of experience in Multi‐Family Residential and Commercial projects
- Knowledge and understanding of Florida building codes
- Proven and successful experience creating structural designs
- Significantly detail‐oriented with the ability to spot and fix potential design flaws
- Ability to work well in a team environment and manage daily tasks for self and junior staff
- Interacts well with other disciplines and clients in a manner that builds productive relationships
- Strong communication skills required to demonstrate design ideas and direction, both verbally and graphically
- Ability to work on multiple projects quickly and simultaneously while maintaining quality and customer service
