About the role

Facilities Sanitation TechThe Facilities Sanitation Tech is responsible for maintaining a cleanly facility by completing a variety of cleaning tasks. Their duties include mopping and vacuuming floors, cleaning surfaces with disinfectant, and emptying trash cans or recycling bins.
Role and Responsibilities: Clean the interior of buildings including carpet, rugs, windows, and walls. Disinfect commonly used items like desks, door handles, office tools and phones. Maintain cleaning inventory, placing orders for new products when needed. Remove debris and snow from sidewalks, apply salt as needed. Loan compactors and auger machines for appropriate waste disposal. Empty trash and recycling bins.
Skills and Abilities: Knowledge of various cleaning products and when to use them. Ability to clean and disinfect various surfaces. Knowledge of safety guidelines when working with chemical cleaners. Excellent time-management skills.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to move equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Applicants must be able to perform repetitive lifting and other physically demanding tasks.
  • Qualifications and Education Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
