Job Title Strategic Director of Marketing Job DescriptionA well-established professional services organization is seeking a strategic Director of Marketing to lead brand strategy, messaging, communications, and overall marketing execution for both the organization and a portfolio of client partners. This is a senior leadership role responsible for driving measurable marketing performance, ensuring brand consistency, leading a creative team, and serving as the marketing lead on select client engagements. Requirements Strategic Leadership: Own overall marketing strategy, positioning, and brand alignment. Ensure initiatives align with organizational goals, budgets, and contractual scopes. Establish KPIs and evaluate ROI across campaigns. Team Leadership: Lead and manage a marketing and creative services team. Oversee execution of campaigns and deliverables to meet client expectations. Ensure marketing services align with client agreements. Marketing Planning & Execution: Develop comprehensive marketing plans, budgets, and reporting frameworks. Research markets and competitive landscapes. Oversee digital campaigns, email marketing, advertising placements, and promotional efforts. Monitor performance and adjust strategy as needed. Content & Communications: Guide development of promotional materials and themed initiatives. Oversee branding and creative direction. Write, edit, and proof marketing & Social Strategy: Oversee social media platforms and content calendars. Coordinate website content strategy and updates. Monitor engagement and performance analytics. Client & Board Engagement: Serve as liaison to committees and boards. Present marketing reports and strategic recommendations. Support member communications and related engagement efforts. Business Development Support: Contribute marketing strategy and positioning support for new business proposals. Qualifications Bachelor's degree required. 5+ years of progressive marketing leadership experience. Experience operating at a senior level with executives and boards. Proven ability to develop strategy, manage budgets, and analyze performance metrics. Strong team leadership skills. Experience managing social media, websites, and email marketing platforms.
