Stellar Senior Living is a premier Assisted Living and Memory Care provider in the Western United States. Since 2012, we have continued to grow while keeping our focus on what matters most: our residents and our people.
Our values guide how we work together every day:
Serve First. Build Trust. Own It. Deliver Excellence. Spread Joy.
We are looking for a Maintenance Technician who wants to live those values with us.
What You'll Do:
As our Maintenance Technician, you will work alongside our Maintenance Director and leadership team to keep our community safe, comfortable, and looking its best.
Your responsibilities will include:
Complete general maintenance and repairs including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, painting, carpentry, and other everyday building needs.
Respond to resident maintenance requests with patience, kindness, and a smile.
Help prepare apartments for new residents, including painting, repairs, cleaning, and completing final touches.
Assist with maintaining our grounds and exterior areas so our community is welcoming and well cared for.
Perform routine inspections and identify concerns before they become bigger problems.
Assist with preventative maintenance and life-safety tasks.
Keep maintenance areas, storage rooms, shops, and equipment clean and organized.
Accurately document completed work and maintenance activities.
Work with outside vendors when needed.
Jump in and help the team when unexpected needs arise.
Who We're Looking For
Maintenance experience is important, but your attitude matters just as much.
Our ideal candidate is:
Positive and uplifting
Dependable and accountable
Friendly and respectful with seniors
A team player who is willing to help
Solution-focused rather than problem-focused
Organized and able to prioritize multiple needs
Proud of the quality of their work
Comfortable communicating with residents, families, coworkers, and vendors
Able to work independently while also being part of a team
Preferred Experience:
Two years of maintenance or related experience preferred
Experience with plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting, carpentry, appliances, or general repairs is a plus
Senior living, healthcare, hospitality, apartment, or multifamily maintenance experience is a plus
Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve effectively
You don't have to know how to fix absolutely everything. We want someone who is willing to learn, takes ownership, asks questions, and keeps working toward a solution.
Why Senior Living?
In senior living, maintenance is personal.
You aren't just fixing a faucet—you may be helping a resident feel comfortable in their home. You aren't just preparing an apartment—you are getting it ready for someone's next chapter.
If you want a maintenance position where your personality, attitude, and work truly matter to people, this could be the right fit for you.
Come help us Serve First, Build Trust, Own It, Deliver Excellence, and Spread Joy!

Before you apply
Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.
Your profile is current
It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.
Two examples you can talk through
Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.
A number in mind
What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.
Your notice period
Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.
Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
