About the role

3 Bridge Networks is an accounting and finance recruiting firm founded in 2012. We help companies hire for direct hire, temporary, and consulting positions. Our clients range from investment firms and startups to established businesses in all industries. We’re hiring our first dedicated, full-time Business Development Manager to bring in new clients and help drive our next stage of growth. This is a hands-on sales role. You’ll make calls, open doors, build relationships, and turn conversations into business. You’ll work directly with our leadership team and partner with experienced recruiters who handle candidate sourcing and recruiting delivery. You’ll have room to pursue opportunities across the markets we serve, without being confined to a narrow geographic territory. As our first full-time BD hire, you’ll have a significant voice in developing our sales approach and expanding the business.
What you’ll do: Win new clients through outbound calls, email, LinkedIn, referrals, and networking. Build relationships with CFOs, accounting and finance leaders, HR teams, and business owners. Understand clients’ hiring needs and identify opportunities for direct hire, temporary, and consulting support. Lead sales conversations, present our services, and secure agreements and hiring opportunities. Partner with our recruiters to deliver on client needs and develop repeat business. Maintain an organized pipeline, consistent follow-up, and clear visibility into your activity and results.
What we’re looking for: A track record of winning new business in B2B sales or business development. Confidence picking up the phone and initiating conversations with prospective clients. Strong relationship-building, communication, and follow-through. The ability to work independently, manage a pipeline, and stay accountable for results. A willingness to learn the accounting and finance hiring market. Staffing or recruiting industry sales experience is preferred, but not required. We welcome strong salespeople from other industries. Prior experience in accounting and finance staffing is not necessary.
Why join us? You’ll help build a business development function within an established firm, with direct access to leadership and a recruiting team ready to support the opportunities you bring in. Your contribution will be visible, and you’ll have room to grow as the business expands. Location and travel This is a remote position with travel approximately once per quarter to the San Francisco Bay Area or other markets where we operate for team meetings, client visits, and business development activities.

Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
