About the role
Position Overview:
697 Sell is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Remote Record and Data Entry Clerk to support accurate data entry, record maintenance, and administrative operations. This position is responsible for entering, updating, organizing, and verifying information across company systems while maintaining confidentiality and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:
Enter and update data accurately in company databases, spreadsheets, and digital systems. Maintain organized electronic records and documentation. Review records for accuracy, completeness, and consistency. Verify information and identify discrepancies or missing data. Process and organize documents, forms, reports, and other records. Retrieve information and provide records when requested by authorized team members. Maintain accurate data logs and tracking spreadsheets. Assist with data reconciliation and routine record audits. Follow established procedures for data entry, filing, and record retention. Respond to internal requests for information in a timely and professional manner. Protect confidential and sensitive company information. Assist with general administrative and clerical tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous experience in data entry, records management, administration, or a related role preferred. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Ability to work independently in a remote environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks while meeting deadlines. Reliable internet connection and a suitable remote-work environment.
Preferred Skills:
Fast and accurate typing and data-entry skills. Familiarity with spreadsheets and database systems. Strong file-management and document-organization skills. Ability to identify and correct data inconsistencies. Professional approach to handling confidential information.
