This position can be worked in Hanover, MD, Herndon, VA or San Antonio, TX. In this role, you will support critical national security missions by identifying and analyzing software vulnerabilities, developing innovative solutions, and collaborating with a highly skilled cyber team to advance offensive and defensive capabilities.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Researching and discovering software vulnerabilities across multiple platforms and environmentsReverse engineering software to identify security weaknesses and develop mechanism bypassesPerforming as a team lead on projects when appropriate, providing technical guidance and mentorshipManaging the design, development, documentation, testing, and debugging of user land and kernel software and systems. Researching and maintaining proficiency in tools, techniques, countermeasures, and emerging trends in computer network vulnerabilities, static and dynamic program analysis, network security, and encryptionCommunicating project status, findings, and risk considerations with leadership and customersMinimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of relevant experience, or High School Diploma and 8+ years of relevant experienceExperience in C/C++, Python and Assembly (x86/x64) programmingExperience in vulnerability researchExperience in exploit developmentExperience in reverse engineering and common security research tools such as IDA Pro, WinDBG, Ghidra, Radare, Binary Ninja, SysInternals, GDB, or similarExperience with CNO capability developmentExperience with low-level internals in Windows or LinuxPreferred Qualifications:Experience developing fuzzers and static analysis toolsExperience with modern security system featuresExperience using Atlassian products (JIRA, Confluence, Crucible)Experience applying Agile Scrum methodologies Experience mentoring junior vulnerability researchersClearance Requirements:Must have a current/active Secret clearance with the ability to upgrade to a TS/SCI clearancePhysical Requirements:Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.The projected compensation range for this position is $128,800.00-$214,500.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
