About the role

The Headhunters have been exclusively engaged by closely held group of niche service companies, and its ownership group seeking a Senior Executive Assistant. The successful candidate will be a conductor of the orchestra at the holding company level working closely with its founders. This is a hybrid role that offers some flexibility but we are seeking a local Lansing / Howell / Owosso area candidate. The successful candidate must have at least 8 years experience in professional settings like accounting firms, financial institutions, law firms, consulting or investment advisors. This is a new position and it has diverse responsibilities including a dash of outing and event planning, making travel arrangements, project management, and personal assistance to go along with supporting highly mobile executives. Our ideal candidate is technology savvy, emotionally intelligent, thoughtful and assertive. Compensation is based on experience and can go up to $100k base for the right candidate, plus bonus and solid benefits. Our client will consider stretching for spot-on candidates that require it to consider the opportunity.
Responsibilities: Coordinate and organize both internal and external events, outings, including dinners, conferences, and assist with industry events. Prioritize and manage multiple tasks with high organization and exceptional attention to detail and deadlines. Assist and sometimes coordinate marketing activities like events, social media, website updates, and coordination of press releases. Project management from beginning to end for team activities, programs, implementations, projects, or events. Manage executive team member calendars and travel arrangements.
Qualifications: Minimum 8+ years of executive administrative experience Bachelor's degree highly desired High proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point), Adobe Acrobat and a CRM, ideally Salesforce or widely used platform Strong and clear written and verbal communication Positive attitude, professional appearance and demeanor
