Ventus Executive Solutions is seeking a skilled Advanced Reactor Systems Engineer to support cutting-edge advanced nuclear and mobile microreactor programs for an innovative program office. You will serve as a primary technical interface for vendor-proposed microreactor and advanced reactor designs, developing detailed familiarity with assigned systems and providing clear, actionable technical assessments and recommendations to government leadership. This position combines hands-on systems engineering, technical program management, design integration, requirements management, safety evaluation, technical risk assessment, and vendor oversight in support of first-of-a-kind (FOAK) reactor programs. You will be a self-starter who can take complex and ambiguous technical challenges from identification through resolution with limited supervision. You will coordinate across government organizations, external subject-matter experts, reactor design companies, and other stakeholders to resolve technical issues, manage interfaces, track program performance, and maintain program momentum.
