Seasonal Flower Display Coordinator Role: The Seasonal Flower Display Coordinator plays a key role in creating beautiful, high-impact floral displays and landscape enhancements that elevate our clients' properties year-round. You will design annual beds, seasonal containers, seasonal decorations (fall and holiday displays, interior displays, etc.), perennial gardens. You'll combine creativity, horticultural knowledge, and project coordination to develop seasonal color programs that align with client expectations and the high standards of the Scott Byron & Co. brand. A casual work environment - no suits or ties here. How You'll Do It: Design and develop annual and perennial seasonal color displays that enhance the appearance and value of client properties. Visit client sites to assess planting areas, take measurements, and maintain accurate planting zone information within company design software. Collaborate closely with Client Relations Managers, Project Managers, and Sales teams to understand project specifications, budgets, and client expectations. Research emerging trends in floral design, seasonal color, plant varieties, and landscape aesthetics and incorporate those ideas into designs. Evaluate design alternatives and recommend creative solutions that balance visual impact, plant performance, and budget requirements. Coordinate with purchasing and flower yard teams to ensure materials are planned, ordered, and available for successful installations. Provide training and guidance to field teams, managers, and installation crews to ensure designs are executed correctly and consistently. Utilize technology and software systems to manage design information, documentation, and record keeping. Monitor project performance and collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure contractual commitments and quality standards are met. Maintain positive working relationships with clients, coworkers, and the public while representing the company professionally. Follow all company safety policies and procedures and contribute to a safe working environment. What Success in This Role Looks Like: Seasonal color installations consistently meet or exceed client expectations and company quality standards. Properties showcase creative, attractive, and well-maintained floral displays that align with current design trends and seasonal aesthetics. Projects are completed within budget and according to contract specifications. Planting plans, measurements, and design records are accurate and up to date. Strong collaboration exists between design, sales, purchasing, and operations teams, resulting in smooth project execution. Installation teams receive the training and support needed to successfully implement design concepts. Client feedback remains positive, leading to high levels of satisfaction and long-term relationships. Safety standards are consistently maintained across all project activities.
Skills and Experience: You Offer: Bachelor's degree in Landscape Design, Horticulture, Landscape Architecture, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and professional experience. Two to five years of related experience in floral design, seasonal color design, horticulture, landscape design, or a similar field. Strong knowledge of annuals, perennials, plant combinations, seasonal color palettes, and landscape aesthetics. Ability to interpret project specifications, manage budgets, and balance creative design with practical execution. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to present ideas and collaborate effectively with clients, managers, and field teams. Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple projects and adapt in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook; experience with Aspire or similar industry software is a plus. Effective problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions in dynamic situations. Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Must be at least 21 years of age and authorized to work in the United States. Ability to meet DOT medical requirements and successfully complete required pre-employment screenings.
