Role Description:
The Administrative Assistant is a full-time, on-site role based in Morristown, NJ. This role supports attorneys and office staff by managing phone calls, greeting visitors, scheduling appointments, and maintaining calendars. Daily responsibilities include organizing files, preparing and updating documents, handling incoming and outgoing mail, and ensuring that client information is accurately recorded and securely stored. The Administrative Assistant will also assist with billing and invoicing tasks, coordinate meetings, and help maintain office supplies and equipment. The role requires consistent professionalism, attention to detail, and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion while providing courteous support to clients and colleagues.
Qualifications:
Strong Administrative Assistance and Clerical Skills, including filing NJ- Ecourts, data entry, document preparation, and general office coordination. Professional Phone Etiquette and Communication skills, with the ability to interact courteously and clearly with clients, colleagues, and external contacts. Experience in Executive Administrative Assistance or supporting attorneys or senior professionals, including calendar management and meeting coordination. Ability to maintain confidentiality, manage multiple tasks, and prioritize in a fast-paced legal office environment. Proficiency with office software MyCase software preferred (e.g., word processing, spreadsheets, email, calendar tools) and comfort learning legal or case-management systems. College degree or additional training or education in business, administration, or legal studies is a plus. Previous experience in a law office for at least three (3) years
