About Us:
Posimech is an AS9100/ISO9001 Certified High‑Mix/Low‑Volume Precision Machine Shop with over 45 years of continuous operation. We are a top‑performing supplier supporting major military aircraft platforms, ground‑support systems, Boeing, Airbus, and emerging SpaceX‑related programs. We are seeking a qualified meticulous Quality Inspector to ensure our parts are right the first time, every time.
The Role:
You will perform in-process and final dimensional inspections of tight-tolerance machined parts and assemblies according to exact technical specifications. You will verify that all manufactured goods meet rigid AS9100 and military compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform First Article Inspections (FAI) and complex in-process and final inspections.
Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and apply Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) principles.
Program, set up, and operate CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machines) using [Zeiss Calypso / PC-DMIS] software.
Utilize manual measuring instruments including calipers, micrometers, thread gages, and drop gages.
Document non-conformances and maintain accurate quality control records in our ERP system.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2-5 years of hands-on quality inspection experience in an aerospace, defense, or tight-tolerance CNC machining environment.
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading and ASME Y14.5 GD&T standards.
- Proven proficiency in CMM programming and operation.
- Experience with aerospace quality standards (AS9100/ISO 9001).High school diploma or equivalent (Technical degree or ASME GDTP certification is a plus).Must be a US person as defined by (ITAR) The International Traffic in Arms Regulations Benefits
