About the role
Shift Supervisor Join BRC in a leadership role that helps ensure safety, stability, and support for individuals experiencing homelessness. As a Shift Supervisor, you'll oversee frontline staff, maintain shelter operations, and ensure policies and safety procedures are followed.
What You'll Do:
Supervise Community Technicians and operations support staff Oversee daily shelter operations, ensuring safety, security, and fire safety compliance Ensure staff follow all agency policies, procedures, and documentation standards Review and maintain accurate records, reports, and clinical notes Respond to incidents and provide guidance to staff as needed Participate in weekly program and leadership meetings Provide emergency First Aid/CPR assistance when required Perform related duties as assigned Schedule Full-time, 37.5 hours per week Programs operate 24/7; various morning, evening, and overnight schedules available Who We're Looking For High School Diploma or GED required Bachelor's degree preferred Experience working in homeless shelters or similar settings preferred At least one year of supervisory or lead experience preferred Knowledge of addiction and recovery processes Strong computer literacy and documentation skills First Aid and Fire Safety certifications required (or willingness to obtain) CPR certification required (or willingness to obtain)
