We are representing a globally recognized FORTUNE 500 manufacturing organization who is actively seeking a Senior Engineering Leader. Reporting to the General Manager, this candidate would assume ownership over an 80+ employee department while working closely with Senior leadership. This is an 1,200+ employee campus, $1.2B campus.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: The Site Engineering Leader will report to the General Manager and will be responsible for leading a department of 80+ employees while assuming budgetary ownership over a 1,200+ employee campus. Drive departmental continuous improvement initiatives inclusive of yield improvement, and process optimization. Provide direction and leadership consistent with company and business plan goals. Maintain and develop strategic relationships with key suppliers and vendors Direct and drive the utilization of problem solving methods for related plant and customer issues. Work closely with plant staff to development "HI-POT " talent Work cross functionally, partnering with different internal departments including Operations, Quality, and Supply Chain to ensure seamless execution of launch programs. Establish and track KPIs aligned with plant and business objectives Provide strategic input into the long-term engineering and business roadmapPOSITION REQUIREMENTSEngineering/Technical degree is required for consideration Candidate should have at least 3-5 years Engineering leadership experience for consideration Experience in high speed/fast paced manufacturing environment is required Ability to communicate effectively with staff and work cross functionally with others
