This role combines technical knowledge of BAS/DDC systems with business development, estimating, and customer relationship management.You'll work directly with contractors, engineers, facility teams, and building owners to identify opportunities, develop technical solutions, prepare proposals, and secure new installation, retrofit, and service projects.What You'll DoDevelop new opportunities for BAS, HVAC controls, DDC, retrofit, and service projectsBuild relationships with mechanical contractors, general contractors, consulting engineers, facility managers, and building ownersReview mechanical plans, specifications, sequences of operation, and controls requirementsHelp determine project scope, system requirements, and appropriate controls solutionsPrepare estimates, scopes of work, proposals, and technical presentationsPresent building automation solutions and recommendations to customersNegotiate project scope, pricing, and commercial termsPursue plan-and-spec, negotiated, retrofit, upgrade, and service opportunitiesMaintain an active pipeline and provide sales forecastsPartner with engineering, estimating, project management, and operations teamsEnsure a smooth transition from project award into executionDevelop long-term customer relationships and repeat businessWhat We're Looking For3+ years of experience in building automation, HVAC controls, commercial HVAC, or related technical salesStrong understanding of BAS/BMS, DDC controls, and commercial HVAC systemsExperience selling, estimating, designing, or supporting controls projectsAbility to read mechanical drawings, specifications, controls documents, and sequencesExperience developing project estimates, proposals, scopes, or technical solutionsStrong customer-facing communication and presentation skillsAbility to develop relationships and generate new businessExisting relationships within the construction, mechanical, engineering, or facilities market are a plusValid driver's license and ability to travel locally throughout the areaCompensation & Benefits$90,000–$110,000 base salary, depending on experience100% employer-paid health insurance for employees and dependents401(k) with 4% company matchPaid holidays and paid time offProfessional development and advancement opportunitiesLong-term opportunity with a growing building automation organizationInterested in hearing more?
