About the role

Botetourt County is seeking the Chief of Fire and EMS to oversee all operational and administrative aspects of Fire, EMS and Emergency Preparedness/Management. The role directs both career and volunteer services, develops policy, and ensures efficient protection of lives and property in emergencies. You will coordinate with local, state and federal agencies, manage the department budget, and lead public safety communications and training programs, reporting to the County Administrator.
