About the role

Cell Press is seeking an Associate Scientific Editor for Matter to shape its scientific direction and broaden its community. You will work with the Editor in Chief to grow Matter’s influence in materials science and coordinate special issues and manuscript transfers across the Cell Press portfolio. The role requires a PhD in a relevant field, strong English communication, and a willingness to travel to conferences and institutes to build community and promote Matter.
