Job Description: Are You the Leader Who Keeps Steel Moving?
Location: Coatesville, PA We’re Hiring Two Production Leaders JGM needs two foremen to run day-to-day operations in our structural steel fabrication shop, focused on AWS D1.1 beam and column work.
Your mission: coordinate people, processes, and equipment so work is safe, staged, and on schedule. Schedule Mon–Fri: 5:00 AM–3:30 PM Every other two-week cycle: Mon–Fri, 5:00 AM–5:30 PM This alternating extended schedule is expected through at least December Optional Saturdays available weekly

Core Responsibilities: Assign tasks and direct daily production Coordinate interdepartmental workflow and staging Track output against goals and deadlines Supportequipment/operationaltroubleshooting Reinforce shop safety and quality standards Develop team members through coaching and feedback Maintain ongoing communication with shop leadership
Qualifications: 3–7 years in manufacturing, fabrication, or industrial environments 3+ years in structural steel fabrication Beam/column or heavy structural experience preferred Prior crew leadership on a production floor Strong organization, communication, and problem-solving Ability to read fabrication drawings and work instructions Hands-on leader with a team-first mindset Technical StrengthsCNC machinery: installation, setup/changeover, troubleshooting Lean manufacturing practices Heavy material handling, rigging, overhead crane AWS D1.1 code familiarity Blueprint and fabrication drawing literacy; welding symbols Manufacturing operations; production supervision and scheduling Workflow management; quality control/inspection Industrial safety Structural steel fabrication and welding Tools and Systems You’ll Work AroundMIG welders (GMAW) and FCAW equipment CNC plasma cutters Beam drill line and CNC beam line Band saws and general welding equipment Overhead cranes and material handling systems What You’ll Gain Consistent overtime Medical, Dental, Vision, and 401(k) with company match PTO and paid holidays Paid training and advancement Steady, year-round work Pathways to higher-level leadership Team-first culture with strong shop leadership Daily snack and drink card Bring your leadership to JGM and help us deliver quality steel on time, every time.
