About the role
Leadership Role in GE Vernova's Wind Services Key Leadership role in GE Vernova's Wind Services organization to drive operational excellence, strategic growth and financial processes for the ~$2B revenue business. This role will oversee Transactional Services Finance focusing on driving profitable growth with high quality execution. This position is a critical role in Wind Services with a focus on developing key finance talent and also driving operational capability improvements through cross functional leadership.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Partner with Wind Services Commercial Leader in developing and executing TX portfolio growth strategy across all regions.
Drive operational process improvement to ensure high quality execution and delivery for our customers.
Support accounting ops organization in financially managing TX portfolio. Focus on improving accuracy and timeliness of financial project reviews to enable operational billing entitlement and clean project completions/closeouts.
Lead financial planning and estimating processes for TX with underlying focus on driving problem solving with commercial and ops teams.
Manage a direct report fostering a culture of continuous learning and development, with a particular focus on upskilling, cross-training and automations.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in finance
- Prior experience leading a team
