The opportunity: SNHU operates a shuttle that is used to transport students to several office campus locations (Walmart, Market Basket, Target, etc.). The shuttle is for SNHU students only and shuttle drivers are responsible for transporting students along the established route. Duties and Responsibilities are unique for each role but include:

Drive the SNHU shuttle
Ensure the safety of all passengers
Complete pre and post shift vehicle inspection
Become an approved driver for the SNHU accessibility van
Complete daily logs (number of passengers, incidents, gas mileage)
Be prepared to work with Public Safety, Roadside Assistance, and/or On-call shuttle supervisor to manage accidents or issues with the vehicle or passengers

Minimum Qualifications:

Enrollment in an Undergraduate or Graduate Day program at SNHUMust have a current/valid driver's license
Must pass the SNHU driving check (limited traffic infractions and accidents)
Positive, courteous, friendly attitude
At least one year of licensed driving experience

Preferred Qualifications: Work study eligible Learning Outcomes are unique for each role but include:

Increased knowledge of transportation needs for members of the community
Increased knowledge and experience with safe driving, and incident management
Increased customer service skills
