About the role
Press HelperAssist in running the Printing press Follow and adhere to the I.Q.M.S. schedule Load and unload skids into the delivery and feeder section of the PressManage all waste sheets coming from the Press Properly run and maintain the feeder section of PressMove finished and unfinished skids to next staging area and scan Properly clean, store and inventory metal printing plates Make sure all ink and water levels are maintained Complete production forms and paperwork Clean and maintain a safe and organized work area All other assigned duties Must have knowledge of paper handling Must have knowledge of inventory control Strong math skills Ability to follow and implement step by step instructions Ability to move heavy objects up to 50lbs. Ability to work in a fast paced environment with high speed equipment Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions in English Must be efficient in multi tasking. Must be able to understand quality standards and perform quality checks To maintain proper safety standards according to established Sanitary and Housekeeping Practices (GMP Compliance) Proper use of all safety equipment i.e.: proper use of personal protective gear including hairnets, gloves and safety glasses.
