About the role
A healthcare services company is building its finance leadership team to support its next stage of growth. The Financial Controller will partner closely with the CFO, lead the accounting function, and help shape the systems and processes that support the business.
Responsibilities:
Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, the general ledger, reconciliations, and close.
Review results against budgets and forecasts; analyze variances, margins, and cash flow for senior leadership.
Strengthen accounting policies, internal controls, approval processes, and documentation.
Manage cash flow, working capital, banking relationships, and cash forecasts.
Coordinate audits and work with external advisors on applicable tax and statutory filings.
Lead and develop four direct reports.
Lead the NetSuite implementation and improve accounting workflows and reporting.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required.7–10 years of progressive accounting experience, including supervisory or management experience.
Demonstrated responsibility for financial reporting, close, general ledger accounting, and internal controls.
Experience with ERP/accounting systems and advanced Excel skills.
Experience improving accounting processes and leading a team through change.
CPA, ACCA, ACA, CMA, CIMA, or equivalent accounting qualification preferred.
Experience managing audits and coordinating tax compliance preferred.
