About the role
Smoothstar Tech is hiring qualified candidates for a work-from-home customer service position with Intuit TurboTax for the tax season. Agents will serve customers by providing product and service information and resolving product and service issues.Customer Service Representative Job Duties:Interact with TurboTax customers via phone, focusing on tax-related questions, data entry, and navigation.Research, analyze, and determine appropriate actions for TurboTax customers.Be a positive representative for Intuit and TurboTax; approach customer interactions with care and empathy.Explain how to use TurboTax accurately and resolve customer inquiries on the first contact.Provide quality customer service, troubleshooting, and resolving advanced technical inquiries.Act as a technical resource to help customers resolve device and equipment problems.Support customers via phone and/or SmartLook one-way video and screen share technology.Customer Service Representative Job Qualifications:At least 1 year of experience in a call center, retail, or helpdesk environment.Excellent technical and customer service skills with a passion for delivering the best customer experience.Extensive experience with Windows OS, web browsing, email, and various software applications.Ability to troubleshoot and resolve advanced technical inquiries effectively.Ability to navigate menus and options on desktop devices while verbally describing actions to customers.Excellent written and verbal communication skills and phone etiquette (clear, crisp speech).Strong active listening skills to accurately paraphrase customer conversations.Ability to begin servicing the program immediately after certification, for a period of 90 days, and meet minimum service requirements.
