About the role
Receptionist/Admin AssistantThe primary role of this position is to facilitate the transition of all in-coming phone calls and visitors to the proper associate in a timely manner. Also, this position will be responsible for administrative duties to be assigned from time to time by Management that can be performed while stationed at the reception desk.Essential duties and responsibilities include:Greeting each visitor with a professional demeanorDiary all visitors and vendor deliveriesEnsuring office security and managing the front deskTransferring calls to the appropriate MCS office and representativeAssisting with opening, sorting, and scanning mailEnsuring lobby, conference rooms, and break-out room are kept orderlyCompleting special projects with operations and finance teamCoordinating employee and client eventsOther duties as assignedQualifications:Excellent oral and written communication skills; strong interpersonal skillsAbility to interact with customers at all levels via phone manner or visitorsHigh-level of attention to detailAbility to multi-task effectively and maintain organization and composure under high pressureStrong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Word)Capable of making timely, independent decisionsEducation requirements:Associate's Degree is preferred, but at minimum a High School Diploma or equivalent education and 1-2 years of related work experienceWork environment:Must be able to work with Management to ensure MCS standardsPresents self to customers with appropriate attitudeRespects customer privacyMaintains a secure and trusting work environmentMaintains an appropriate professional appearance in the workplaceSupervisory responsibilities:NonePhysical demands:Must be able to sit for prolonged periods in a 7 1/2 hour to eight-hour day.
