Closing Date: Recruiter: Scerra, Ryan D.Assistant or Associate Professor in Benign and Malignant Hematology The Carole and Ray Neag Comprehensive Cancer Center and the Division of Hematology Oncology at UConn Health seek an energetic candidate who is a board eligible or boardcertified physician or a physician-scientist with an interest in Classical Hematology. Additionally, the candidate may be involved in the care of other hematologic or oncologic patients. The ideal candidate will have an interest in clinical or translational research. Appropriate resources forresearch shall be made available to a candidate with a research program. He/she will alsocontribute to the strong educational programs in the Division. The Carole and Ray Neag Comprehensive Cancer Center has strong Divisions of Medical Oncology, Surgical Oncology, Radiation Oncology and Gynecological Oncology. We also havestrong research programs in cancer immunotherapy, cancer prevention, cancer genomics andcancer cell biology. The Jackson Laboratory for Genomic Medicine, located on our campus, is apartner institution. UConn Health is composed of the schools of Medicine and Dental Medicine, Graduate Programsin Biomedical Sciences, Public Health and Clinical Translational Research, the John Dempsey Hospital, and the faculty practice.
