Receptionist Position at Wasatch LabsThe Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for our company, responsible for welcoming visitors, vendors, clients, and customers, directing them to appropriate locations and parties. This role also involves operating a multi-line telephone switchboard and promptly notifying personnel of visitor arrivals. Key responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to: Professionally and courteously answer, assist, and direct all incoming telephone calls to appropriate parties. Execute related clerical tasks such as typing, filing, and sorting mail distribution. Reserve conference rooms and ensure they are well-organized and tidy. Provide administrative support as needed.
Knowledge, skills and abilities: Proficiency in MS Office, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Exceptional oral and written communication skills. Outstanding customer relationship skills.
Minimum qualifications:
  • Two years of reception experience (or equivalent customer related ability)
  • Prior administrative office management experience.
  • Professional dress code:
The Receptionists are expected to maintain a professional appearance at all times. This includes wearing business or business-casual attire, such as slacks, dress shirts, blouses, dresses, and closed-toe shoes. Fridays are considered casual days, where employees may wear neat jeans and company-branded apparel. Please note that visible tattoos and piercings (other than earrings) should be covered during work hours. This dress code helps maintain a professional image and contributes to a positive and respectful workplace environment. Please note that this dress code is subject to change based on the company's discretion and specific role requirements.
