Volunteer Music Companion Locations: Salem, Gloucester, and Cumberland Counties Commitment: Flexible, based on your availability Instruments: Guitar, violin, piano, ukulele, flute, or any instrument you love Overview We're looking for compassionate volunteers with musical talent who would like to share their gifts with hospice patients. Music has an incredible ability to comfort, calm, and connect — and your presence can make a meaningful difference in someone's day.
Role Responsibilities: Provide musical visits — Play your instrument for patients at assisted living facilities. Honor patient preferences — Play soothing music, familiar songs, or simply soft background melodies based on what the patient enjoys. Perform at Memorial Services-Provided meaningful musical tribute at a patient's memorial service when requested by the family.
