About the role
Blacklock Group are partnered with a leading Bulge Bracket Investment Bank that is looking to add an Analyst to its Power, Utilities & Infrastructure (PU&I) team. This is an opportunity to join a highly regarded sector team with an active deal pipeline and gain significant exposure to complex, high-profile transactions across the Power, Utilities and Infrastructure landscape.
The Role:
The successful candidate will work across a broad range of M&A and strategic advisory mandates, supporting senior bankers throughout the transaction lifecycle.
Responsibilities will include:
Execution of live M&A transactions across the Power, Utilities & Infrastructure sectors Financial modelling, valuation and transaction analysis Preparation of client presentations, marketing materials and transaction documentation Conducting detailed company, sector and market analysis Supporting due diligence and transaction processes Working closely with senior bankers and clients on both live mandates and new business opportunities
Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate will have: Strong Investment Banking experience at Analyst level Solid M&A execution experience, ideally with meaningful transaction exposure across Power, Utilities and/or Infrastructure Strong financial modelling, valuation and analytical capabilities Experience working on live transactions from origination through to execution Excellent written and verbal communication skills The ability to operate effectively in a demanding, fast-paced environment This represents an excellent opportunity for an Analyst looking to join a leading global investment banking platform and develop further within a strong PU&I franchise.
